Senior Full-Stack Builder

At Tally, we're creating an AI-first accounting platform for SMEs. We automate financial workflows with extreme correctness requirements. This involves:

• High-throughput, resilient backend services: handling complex financial and document-processing flows with Django.

• Deterministic application layers: managing, auditing, and tracking long-running agent-driven processes.

• Seamless user experiences: interfaces that make complex, multi-step automation observable and actionable.

• Data integrity at scale: keeping our backend as a robust and auditable source of truth for financial records.

• System orchestration: building APIs and state management for long-running, partially non-deterministic workflows.

• Developer velocity & architecture: evolving a modular codebase that stays fast to ship and safe to change.

Optimize complex Django ORM queries. Build robust data-ingestion and workflow pipelines. Integrate observability around agent execution. Ship clean UI components where needed to close product loops.

• Django mastery: deep experience building and scaling Python/Django systems in production.

• Full-stack capability: comfortable moving across backend and frontend when needed to unblock delivery.

• AI-assisted delivery: proficiency using AI tools to generate high-quality production code is a must.

• Pragmatic craftsmanship: high standards on code quality, testing, and schema design, with strong shipping discipline.

• Bonus points: experience with React, and exposure to agent tooling and observability frameworks (e.g., Langfuse, ADKs).
