Accounting Specialist

This is a full-time, Accountant Specialist role based in Lisbon. As an Accountant Specialist at Tally, you will be responsible for helping Tally's clients preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and an interest in leveraging technology for efficiency.

Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements

Familiarity with accounting software and tools

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Accountant from OCC is a plus

Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in English is an advantage

Eagerness to work in an early stage tech environment

3+ years of experience in an accounting setting is a plus
